Firebrand® Hi-Watt Density cartridge heaters are highly compacted by swaging. This provides a dense, uniform refractory insulation with excellent heat transfer and dielectric strength. Constructed using Incoloy sheaths and 80-20 nichrome resistance wire these versatile heaters are ideal for high temperature applications.
Typical Applications:
Dies, platens, molds, sealing equipment, plastic molding, rubber molding, and hot knives.

Standard Lo-Watt Density cartridge heaters are a time tested conventional design made of helical resistance wire coils supported in ceramic cores and insulated with magnesium oxide. This construction provides excellent life and performance in applications requiring low to medium power.
Typical Applications:
Direct immersion in liquids where there are tight confinements requiring a high concentration of heat. Ideal for through the wall mounting in tanks, boilers, & humidifiers.
