Immersion Heaters
General Description:
Glenn immersion heaters feature extremely long life and are constructed of rugged tubular elements that are formed for use in tanks and vessels. All elements in Glenn immersion heaters have repressed end-loops, a feature contributing to the long heater life. Desifned watt densities are available for various heat intensities. Glenn immersion heaters can be fabricated to meed customers' individual requirements.
Typical Applications:
Glenn immersion heaters provide the best known means of heating such liquids as water, oil, alkalies, chemical solutions, certain acids, anti-freeze, electroplating colutions, and salt solutions. There are very few limitations to the use of the Glenn immersion heaters. They can be used with equal effectiveness in open containers or in closed vessels under pressure, and will provide constant well-regulated temperatures when used in conjunction with positive thermostatic temperarure controls and magnetic contractors for very heavy heater loads.
