Series HTC heaters include a formed nickel-plated copper Glenn tubular heater mounted to a finished steel control housing. A heavy duty spash resistant thermostatic control equipped with a manual reset over-temperature cutout has a positive on-off switch. An integrally mounted pilot light inducates when off that the water had reached desired operating temperature. All heat has been concentrated in the lower portion of the element permitting low water levels, but this portion must remain immersed. A fully adjustable stainless steel mounting bracket is attached to the cold risers for mounting on the splash board or tank rim. All internal wiring is complete, terminiating with a three conductor 3' cord set and standard appliance plug. No contractor is required, except a properly switched and fused power supply.
